Late Start on Keeping you all updated

Here we go.

It's January 8 and was the first day of class. I had only one today, called neighborhood narratives. My professor is from Canada. This class is every other Monday but for good reason, because it is from 10-5, thats a LONNNNNNG day. I have 2 classes tomorrow and 1 on Wednesday. Thursdays and Fridays I have off.

So London is everything I expected with people driving on the other side of the road and of course I expected the accents but some of the things I noticed a difference in was of course food. Packaging here is so weird. Juice doesn't come in plastic containers. They come in gigantic juiceboxes with little lids. Soda bottles are odd too. They are extra skinny and taller too.

So here is what was weird for me. Besides only having 5 TV channels, I was watching the news and then ER came on. Thats not too crazy considering Europe plays a lot of American television, the weird thing was that, American voices sound really weird, not foreign, just different and out of place. When you are the minority, as far as nationality and "language", you begin to even think of things in accent. Most of the time probably because I am repeating what people say in my head because its sounds so funny. I'd like to see how things get even further into the trip. It's only been 5 days.

Thats all for now. Check in throughout the week, I will try to do daily writings.
